As a Jorny Community Leader, you will:
- Implement Jorny's personal growth program and experience guidelines locally
- Map out and curate local resources (experiences, speakers, trainers, locations)
- Build a thriving local community by reaching out to your network
- Plan and host engaging events and activities for members

What exactly does a Local Leader do?
You’ll curate and host local experiences, build community relationships, and be the face of Jorny in your city. This includes event planning, member engagement, and local partnerships.
What's the time commitment?
10-15 hours per week, including event hosting and preparation for a group of up-to 50 members. Schedule is flexible but requires some evening and weekend availability for events.
How does compensation work?
Base part-time fee plus performance bonuses tied to event success and community growth. Leaders may also have an opportunity to play a larger role as location directors, inspiring other leaders and scaling the location’s operation.
What support does Jorny provide?
Full training program, event planning tools, marketing support, central member management system, and dedicated team support. Plus, regular leadership development sessions.
Do I need previous event planning experience?
More important than event planning is your ability to connect with people and build community. We provide all necessary training and systems.
What's the selection process like?
Initial application, video interview, sample event concept presentation, and final interview with team leads. Process typically takes 2-3 weeks.
What qualities are you looking for?
Natural connectors who are organized, reliable, and passionate about bringing people together. Must have strong local knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit.
Do I need to handle payments/money?
No. All payments and bookings are handled through our central system. You focus on creating great experiences.
Can I maintain my current job/business?
Yes! The role is designed to work alongside other commitments. Many leaders have full-time jobs or businesses.
What expenses do I need to cover?
None. Jorny covers all approved event costs, marketing materials, and necessary tools. You’re not required to make any upfront investments
