You’ll learn about the origins of the mafia in Buffalo and that it was the headquarters of the territory governed by Stefano Magaddino, one of the members of The Commission. Find out where many of his top “made men” lived and operated and how they succeeded at eluding the government men for decades on this entertaining tour.
The tour meets across the street from the former Romanello’s Roseland Restaurant at 490 Rhode Island Street, the site of one of the most well-known mob “hits” in Buffalo. Free street parking is available on Rhode Island, Chenango, and other nearby streets. This tour is approximately two hours in length with approximately 2.0+ miles of walking.
